Additional carts will cost $75 each.
- Container compliancePlease DO NOT set out any other containers than the one provided or extra bags.
- Cart care alertThe carts stay with the address. Do not take the cart when you move. Each cart provided to you will be stamped with a serial number that is assigned specifically to your address with GPS delivery confirmation. We use that serial number to track your cart.
- Maintain your cart's appearancePeriodic cleaning is advised. Please do not permanently mark or deface carts.
These items will not be collected
Remember that items outside the cart will not be collected.
- Commercial and IndustrialSolid waste generated on commercial property or from industrial processes and land clearing debris, excavated fill and earthen material. Yard waste generated by a commercial lawn care company, plant nursery or farming operations.
- Construction/Demolition debrisRoofing material generated, collected, and transported by a roofing company and construction and demolition debris
- Hazardous MaterialsWrecked, scrapped, ruined or dismantled motor vehicles or motor vehicles parts including oil, tires, batteries and boats, boat motors and boat trailers
The Placement of Your Trash Can Matters
The correct placement of your trash can will ensure the collection of your garbage, recyclables or yard waste.
Most collection trucks are armed with an automated electronic arm that grabs and empties the bin. This efficient process streamlines collection and prevents potential injuries.
Residential Recycling Service Guidelines
The same general guidelines above apply to Recycling carts and service as well. All items on this prohibited list should be thrown away in accordance with local, state or federal regulations. Please rinse all containers, plastic bottles, steel & aluminum cans before recycling. Plastic bags and egg cartons can be returned to your local grocery store.
- Additional Prohibited ItemsGlass, Plastic Bags, Styrofoam, Stretch Film, Hoses, Ropes, Blankets, Clothing, Windshields, Mirrors, Electronic Scrap, Books, Wax Coated Cartons (juice, milk, chicken broth), Pressurized Containers, Shoes, Rubber, Organic Waste (plants, dirt, trees) Light Bulbs, Porcelain, Hazardous Waste, Chemicals, Dog Food Bags, Automotive Parts, Wood, Pillows, Blinds, Food Waste, Diapers, Pool Solar Blankets, Patio Furniture, No Hazardous Materials- Hazardous Liquids, Combustibles, Corrosives, etc.
- Container Packing GuidelinesAll items should be placed loose into the container. Do not put items in grocery bags or garbage bags.
